Facebook + Instagram ads plan · prepared September 2026

We studied the hot tub ads that are already working.
Then we built yours from them.

No guessing. Every ad in this plan copies a format other hot tub dealers have run for months, because it keeps bringing in buyers. The dates follow when Phoenix actually shops.

The ads that keep running are the ones that sell.

An ad that runs for months is paying for itself. These three have run the longest in their groups.

18have run for over a year. Several are the same design, reused by different dealers.

Already working in Phoenix: Imagine Backyard Living (Scottsdale) has run its offer ad for 297 days. Queen Creek Hot Tubs is running a $1,000-off Facebook form right now.

Ten proven ad formats. We picked the ones that fit you.

Each card is a real ad still running today, with how long it has run. Green means it fits Francis Jordan well.

Competitors sell this as a limited-time bonus. You already include it with every spa.

That makes it your strongest offer, and it costs you nothing new.

$500 Welcome Coupon

Claim a $500 coupon on a new hot tub through a Facebook form.

Why
The standard dealer coupon in this industry ($500 off hot tubs, $1,000 off swim spas) has run 358 days on a Facebook form. The $500 figure was already planned for your website popup.
Cost to you
$500 per sale that uses it.
We need from you
Yes or no. Hot tubs only, or swim spas too (market standard is $1,000 on swim spas)? Does it combine with holiday offers?
O5Your call

Free Phoenix Hot Tub Buyer's Guide

A short free guide: size, power, placement and what drives running costs in an Arizona summer.

Why
Buyer's guide ads run 174 and 136 days, and Hot Spring's corporate brochure ad runs the same idea. It captures people who are months away from buying.
Cost to you
None. We write the guide.
We need from you
Approve the guide once we draft it.
O6Needs a lender

Financing

Low monthly payments through a named lender.

Why
Financing ads are common (60 months 0%, 0% APR). They also unlock the tax-refund season angle.
Cost to you
Depends on the lender.
We need from you
Lender name and terms. Meta also requires financing ads to run under its Financial Products category, which limits targeting.

Every campaign's start and stop date.

The dated sale ads we found went live one to two weeks before the holiday and stopped on a printed end date. We do the same.

Why October: searches jump 29% from September to October and peak in November (13,860). January is almost as strong. Swim spas are a small share of searches but peak in June to September, so a small swim spa ad runs alongside the hot tub ads then.

How $3,000 a month is spent.

About $99 a day across three campaigns. During a holiday, the event ad takes over part of the same budget. We change the message, not the spend.

C1Evergreen: In-Home Visit Leads

$55 a day · about $1,672 a month

Goal: Leads, using a Facebook Instant Form with a review step

Sends to: Facebook Instant Form

Ads: E2, E4

28% of long-running image ads use an Instant Form, and it gives the lowest cost per lead. The earlier budget sheet was built on this.

C2Evergreen: Quiz + Offer Page

$30 a day · about $912 a month

Goal: Leads from forms sent on your website

Sends to: Your website: the Spa Match quiz, the new Fully Outfitted page, the home page and the swim spa page. Until the new page is live, E1 uses the Instant Form.

Ads: E1, E3, E5, E7

66% of long-running image ads send traffic to a landing page. Website leads are fewer but better informed.

C3Retargeting

$14 a day · about $426 a month

Goal: Leads, using a Facebook Instant Form

Sends to: Facebook Instant Form

Ads: E6, E2

Starts once the pixel has two to four weeks of visitors. Until then its $14 a day stays in C1.

What to expect: the budget plan we built in August estimated about $45 per lead at this spend, or roughly 65 leads a month. That is an estimate from industry benchmarks, not a promise. After four weeks we'll have your real numbers and adjust.

9

What we need from you to launch on October 12.

Tick them off as we go. The first four are needed to launch at all. The rest decide which offers can run.

How we built this

  • Research date: September 25, 2026. Source: the Meta Ad Library (every ad on Facebook and Instagram is public there).
  • What counts as a winner: an ad still running and running for at least 30 days. Longer is stronger.
  • The pool: 1,300 US ad records (1,090 different ads) from searches for hot tub, swim spa, hot tub sale and hot tub financing. We removed rentals, hotels, junk haulers, covers, chemicals and parts, and counted identical ads once. 183 ad ideas from 123 hot tub sellers remained.
  • Phoenix demand: Google search volume for 157 hot tub and swim spa buying searches in the Phoenix market, by month, from our August keyword research.
  • Limits: Meta removes stopped US ads from the library, so last year's holiday ads can't be seen. We'll record competitors' Black Friday and Christmas ads live in November.
  • Your rules: every line of ad copy is checked by software for Meta's ad policies (no health claims, nothing that points at a reader's personal traits) and your own rules (no prices, no brand names, no reviews we don't have).
  • The full research: a swipe file of all 36 winning ads with their exact copy, and a spreadsheet of every ad reviewed, are available on request.
